Background: TC Legend is a design & build company, building 5-10 affordable Net Zero & Net Positive, custom-for-buyer houses in the Bellingham area of the PNW.

TC Legend leads the industry, is growing, & moving into the spec market, aiming to deliver 1,000 Net Zero houses per year within 10 years.

Job title:  Trainee Draftsman

Required:

• 2D AutoCAD fluency
• Sincere belief that action on climate change is essential
• Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, professional, etc. (you will be communicating directly with the client and the city on permitting/ designing)
• Excellent organizational skills

Nice to have/ Other Preferred skills include:

• Excel & Revit
• Construction experience
• Project management
• Self starter
• Excel and BIM fluency
• Any construction experience

This is a part-time Summer Internship (~15-25 hrs/p week) with an hourly pay of $15 – 20, pay based on experience.

We are looking to hire May/ June, 2021 through September, with the potential for advancement and full-time work.

This position will be predominantly remote / work-from-home work with online meetings.
